In Los Angeles, Four People Were Shot Dead

Gerry Dean Zaragoza, 26, killed his father and brother at their house, fatally wounded a lady he knew at a gas station and shot a person on a bus who died, police mentioned.

There isn’t any obvious motive for any of the killings mentioned Capt. William Hayes of the Robbery-Homicide Division of the Los Angeles Police Division.

“We’re evaluating it, we’re interviewing witnesses however we won’t provide you with a particular reply,” he instructed reporters.

Hayes stated the shootings started at about 1:20 a.m. in Canoga Park when Zaragoza shot his mother and father and brother. Zaragoza’s father and brother had been killed and his mom injured, Officer Greg Kraft stated.

About an hour later, Zaragoza went to a gas station in North Hollywood, the place he shot a lady and a person who have been working there, Hayes stated.

Hayes mentioned Zaragoza knew the lady previously. She died at a hospital. Hayes stated the person survived; police had mentioned earlier that the sufferer was in crucial condition.

Police also think Zaragoza is responsible for an attempted robbery close to an ATM at a bank and for a fatal shooting on a bus at a stop in Van Nuys.

“He did not do anything. He was simply sitting on the bus,” a witness informed CNN affiliate KABC about the sufferer.
