Trump ripped into his Democratic rivals for the presidency at a campaign rally in Cincinnati on Thursday evening, however dialed again his criticisms of the so-called “Squad” of freshman Democratic lawmakers in the first rally since his supporters drew bipartisan condemnation final month by participating in an impromptu “Send her back!” chant directed at Somali-born Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.
Almost instantly, Trump charged that the “Democrat party is now being led by four left-wing extremists who reject everything that we hold expensively” — an apparent reference to the “Squad.” The comment drew jeers, however no chanting, from attendees.
The president pointedly didn’t identify and criticize each member of the “Squad,” as he did at the earlier rally in Greenville, N.C.
Trump did, however, condemn what he called the “wasted money” that has led to “blight” in inner cities run by Democrats. However, he declined to specify which cities he was referring to, as a result of as he put it, “we want no controversy.”
“Nobody has paid a higher price for the far-left damaging agenda than People living in our nation’s inner cities,” Trump mentioned. “We ship billions and billions and billions for years and years, and it is stolen money, and it is wasted money.”
“Immediately, I have a simple proposal for Democrat leaders to help laws to finish illegal migration, and we are going to use the huge savings to rebuild our inner cities,” Trump mentioned. “That is the way in which we should be doing it.”
